oldhorse
My handle, "oldhorse", comes from how a Chinese co-worker refered to me. To call someone "old" or "small" followed by their family name, is a familiar form of address in Chinese. The initial syllable in my first name sounds a bit like the Chinese word for horse, which is also a fairly common family name. My co-worker used my first name rather than my family name to dub me, because, unlike Chinese, our first name is the first one spoken.
By now I have written a number of Hubs on various topics. The things I want to write about vary from week to week, but in all cases, I have tried to write thoughtfully. I hope you enjoy, at least, a few of them.
